Nestled in the heart of the Wicklow Mountains

Opening in 2021, Wicklow Way campsite situated at Oldbridge, on the famous Wicklow Way walking trail, close to Roundwood (4km) the highest village in Ireland, Laragh (5km) and the monastic city of Glendalough (6km).

Uniquely located with stunning views of the Wicklow mountains, this campsite offers the combination of fantastic scenery and thoughtfully designed pitches. The site is small and intimate to enhance the sense of remoteness on the edge of the National Park.

Beautiful Location

Additional self-guided looped trails (commencing and ending at the site) and forest walks make the campsite a great place to explore and enjoy the beauty of the Garden of Ireland. Alternatively, you can sit back and enjoy the peace and tranquility of this small and family friendly campsite. If you are walking on the Wicklow Way, our campsite requires no detour. Simply walk up to our gate.

Family Campsite

With designated and private pitches for each tent, the opportunity to wake up to the bird song and pure mountain air, in the heart of the Wicklow mountains is not to be missed. We are a family friendly campsite and have a quiet curfew from 11pm in the evening. At night, relax around our fire pit, toast marshmallows and enjoy the spectacular night skies.

Activities

We are located close to many different adventure centres, walking trails, and activities such as mountain biking, horse riding, fishing and swimming. We are happy to advise you on opening times, and the location of the activities when you arrive. We are in the perfect location to base yourself for a weekend of fun-filled adventure.
